The "Commedia" is an intensely personal journey. It's author, Dante Alighieri, finds himself lost in a terrible wood and faces mortal peril.  He is rescued by Virgil, the Roman poet and Dante's' literary mentor. Virgil reveals to Dante that the only way out, is THROUGH...into the very heart of hell and all that it contains.  Just like life, we must experience pain and deep sadness to appreciate joy, living and life. 

And we, ourselves, follow Dante right into THE PLACE!
