Nel mezzo del camin, di nostra vita, mi ritrovai per una selva oscura...
Nel mezzo del camin, di nostra vita,
mi ritrovai per una selva oscura,
che la diritta via era smarrita.
Ahi quanto a dir qual era è cosa dura,
esta selva selvaggia e aspra e forte,
che nel pensier rinova la paura!
Tant’ è amara che poco è più morte;
Midway thru my life, I found myself lost in a dark wood,
for the known path was lost.

his website represents a collection of contemporary drawings and bronze reliefs, by Indianapolis artist Jennifer Strange.
The works are inspired from the “Divine Comedy,” written by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri in approximately 1300. While these images follow certain passages through Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise, they focus on the symbolic nature of the Commedia and the powerful examination of Humanity and Free Will ....important themes relevant in any age.
